MEMPHIS, TN – The governing body for all star cheerleading in the United States, the USASF has announced Cheerleading Worlds Divisions for the 2019 Cheerleading World Championship. The annual end of season event is to be held at Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports in April 2019. This announcement makes modifications to previously existing divisions, in addition to the announcement of new divisions to be offered at next years championship.
- Open 5
- Open Small Coed 5 (1-4 males)
- Open Large Coed 5 (5-12 males)

- Senior Extra Small All Girl 5 (see eligibility modifications below)
- Senior Small All Girl 5
- Senior Medium All Girl 5

The Senior Extra Small All Girl and Senior Extra Small Coed 5 divisions, once protected by the rule that a program could only enter the division if the program (including franchises) has ONLY one “Worlds Team” has been relaxed for the 2018/2019 season. Meaning, ANY program regardless of number of “Worlds Teams” housed at that location or any other location(s) may field a team in the above mentioned divisions.
Additionally, the division moves to accommodate up to 16 athletes for 2018/2019.
